Hours of Work: Mon-Thurs 8.00-5.00 Fri 8.00-1.00 O/T available during busy periods
Rate of Pay: pay scale circa £9.00 Linked to experience + Time Att Bonus + Efficiency Bonus
Holiday Entitlement: 24 Days per year + 8 Statutory (pro rata)
Employment type: Full time/permanent/monthly paid
Job Role: To co-ordinate the movement of laser cut and machined parts from the laser cnc department to both in-house & subcon fabrication within a defined period allowing welders to move seamlessly from job to job.
Job specifics
- Kitting from pick lists
- Preparing stillages with correct items in readiness for production welding
- Preparing spares orders ready for welding
- Prepare stillages of work ready for subcon welding
- Unloading of steel deliveries
- Loading and unloading of subcon fabrications
- Monitor & re-order parts in Kanban rack system via email
Skill Set
- Ability to read drawings
- Good communication skills

- High level of attention to detail
- Data inputting of subcon & production order requirements
- Safe operation of 2.5 tonne fork trucks within a factory environment
Qualifications
- 2.5 tonne forklift truck licence
- On the job Training in a similar Industry
- Training in or an understanding of single piece flow systems
